This is so funny, I watch sky news Australia and I'd swear they were picked out of a trump rally.

"Murdoch playing both sides. Can't lose. "

actually.... not anymore

sky news australia is owned by murdochs "news corp"... who still own Fox news

Sky News... well.. sky europe.. was sold by murdoch and ended up being bought by Comcast, who own NBC in the states...

so basically NBC News use Sky News for most of their world Coverage... And Sky use NBC News for US Coverage....

yep... murdoch was going to sell "21st century fox" (which included sky europe) to Disney, who own ABC in the states

comcast stepped in, counter offered for the whole lot....

murdoch said no...

because Sky was listed on FTSE, came under UK rules, asked if comcast would be interested in buying sky seperately...

Comcast said yes....

UK regulator then said there would be a "blind auction" for sky... highest bidder wins.... comcast won!

so murdoch ended up selling 21st century fox (except the fox tv network) to disney, but the entire european operation to Comcast.....
