Anyone seen anything from the leaked dossier from report on the Labour Party? Came to my attention last night. Some very interesting findings to say the least.

It hasn’t really been picked up by any MSM so I mostly have screenshots but have come across this article which does ok but still doesn’t quite show the extent of how terrible some of the leaked conversations of HQ members were.

Link, sir: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/labour-leak-report-corbyn-election-whatsapp-antisemitism-tories-yougov-poll-a9462456.html

I should add that link doesn’t include other messages I’ve seen including one of HQ people saying Abbott was crying in the toilets after receiving hate mail in 2017 and then asked whether they should tell a reporter where she was to which another replied, ‘I already have’. The entire thing makes for grim reading

The guardian are under reporting it, https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2020/apr/12/hostility-to-corbyn-curbed-labour-efforts-to-tackle-antisemitism-says-leaked-report

A site called novaramedia has much more info. I think they got the leaked report first.

I saw this on Owen Jones Twitter last night.

Some shocking stuff being revealed. I feel for Abbott.

Let’s hope Sir Kier gets the noise in order.

Thank you! Yes I saw it online this morning and my gf actually managed to download the full document before it was taken down. Over eight hundred pages of craziness. I’ll check out this site out though

I've had a look at some it, it wasn't just JC they had it in for, Andy Burnham was also though to be too left wing.

It's nuts isn't it. I haven't begun to read all of it (as it's my birthday today) but what I have read is astounding.

Been sat reading this afternoon. The absolute horror of the situation. No one can deny the existence of antisemitism in Labour anymore just as in any other sphere of life in the UK but by acting in the way they did, these people effectively tried to cover it up and allowed AS to persist!

Disgusting.

They tried to use it as a political tool which is even more frightening.

Lots of people, I heard Iain Mcnicol was a high profile one. And Emilie Oldknow was another. She said some abhorrent things.

Was just about to say this. I think it makes it even worse that taking down the Left of the party was done at the expense of a minority group. The comment from Oldknow about giving Livingstone a softer punishment to create shit for Corbyn is just gross. I think although it attempts to prove Corbyn wasn’t at fault in dealing with anti semitism, it actually highlights that the party is institutionally anti Semitic and racist

As always unfortunately the press will report the angle of anything they wish to promote?

Can't trust any of them as far as I'm concerned..

The conspiracy against Corbyn or the institutional antisemitism thing?

To be honest I am not shocked by either. I think the antisemitism was definitely not always dealt with adequately but the report makes you question whether that was Corbyn or others within the party. Basically I think we know that labour need an independent complaints system.

What do you think

Read the chat following the 2017 election result. They were gutted at the result

08/06/2017, 22:24 – Julie Lawrence: Patrick if anyone in war room needs some safe space time they can come to gso .

08/06/2017, 22:25 – Tracey Allen: More like in need of counselling!

08/06/2017, 22:41 – Emilie Oldknow: What’s the atmosphere like there?

08/06/2017, 22:41 – Simon Mills: Depends which side of the building!

08/06/2017, 22:41 – Patrick Heneghan: Awful

08/06/2017, 22:41 – Patrick Heneghan: Help

08/06/2017, 22:42 – Simon Mills: Split between euphoria and shock

08/06/2017, 22:42 – Julie Lawrence: We are stunned and reeling.

08/06/2017, 22:45 – Tracey Allen: They are cheering and we are silent and grey faced. Opposite to what I had been working towards for the last couple of years!! ??

08/06/2017, 22:46 – Emilie Oldknow: We have to be upbeat

08/06/2017, 22:46 – Emilie Oldknow: And not show it

08/06/2017, 22:47 – Emilie Oldknow: And at least we have loads of money now…

08/06/2017, 22:47 – Julie Lawrence: Not if we go into coalition and lose short money

08/06/2017, 22:47 – Julie Lawrence: “Steve” walking the floor

08/06/2017, 22:48 – Emilie Oldknow: Oh no

08/06/2017, 22:48 – Patrick Heneghan: Everyone needs to smile

08/06/2017, 22:48 – Patrick Heneghan: I’m going into room of death

08/06/2017, 22:48 – Emilie Oldknow: Everyone needs to be very up beat

08/06/2017, 22:48 – Julie Lawrence: Its hard but yes

08/06/2017, 22:52 – Iain McNicol: I’m not in smiling and mixing and doing the 2nd floor.

08/06/2017, 22:53 – Iain McNicol: Everyone else needs to do the same.

08/06/2017, 22:53 – Iain McNicol: It is going to be a long night.

Their plans to depose corbyn fell apart that night

It's really straight forward. Self-interest.

If Corbyn had cemented his position with an election win, he would have finally been able to clear out the Blairites.

Basically they were hanging on to their jobs, never mind the cost.

This basically leaves left-leaning voters politically adrift. But many felt that way before the leak so cements what they already knew.
