It would be great to have

a filter in inbox and sent so the messages can be filtered or sorted as per read / un read

Also in results of advanced search, a sort option would be nice to rearrange search results as per distance, last online and so on

Search results already show in order of last online, and Who’s Near already orders by distance....

It does but then it doesn't give you flexibility to sort the same results not by last online but in fact purely on the basis of distance

Also the distance parameter doesn't really work as intended where if just chose radius of 5 miles it will still display results of people beyond that and the disturbing thing is the same results are mixed with the last online so people who are far away from you get displayed way before people who are near me just because nearby people weren't recently online
