Is there any advantage of using the mobile app over the one in safari?

Their isnt a mobile app.. its just a mobile version of the desktop version

The format, layout and style of the site is different, depending on whether viewed as the mobile or desktop version - and you can switch between them on a phone. Try both and see which you prefer.

The mobile version uses buttons, collating useful information in a small space, making it easy to get to much of what I need quickly, so I prefer it.

If you want to use cam on mobile, download Puffin browser and log onto the full site not mobile then cam will broadcast.
