Location problem HTC

Went on hols last year in lanzorote,since came home when go on who's nearby it's all UK people in lanzorote currently even though I'm in Ireland!!..can't seem to change it. Help please

My HTC gets a bit odd over location. It told me I was at work when I was half way home. Could be HTC problem?
