Just a thought any chance of a button to reply to staus updates, i have seen a few that a quick reply could be fun rather than explaining the one liner on a message only to be deleted.

I managed to get an inbox ban for a few hours yesterday not from abusive behaviour either! So I dread to think what would happen with this idea

I don't think the mechanics of the site would allow this to work. There is no separate inbox for statuses

maybe it could work like a private message and fall in to your message box.

I also think it would be good to have a reply to status option.

As the original post is over a year ago and it has not happened, then one can only assume its not going to

its not the same you have to type so much more just to get a silly comment across it takes away from the moment. where as a quick reply would mean they know why you just said what you did.
