Delete from inbox page

It would be great if the delete button on the inbox page was replaced by a tick box option to multiple delete like the desktop version. I find too often that although it says deleted when I refresh various messages I've clicked delete on are still in my inbox.

Click the Menu button on the top right hand side of the Messages page...

All will become apparently clear.
