active filters

I have active filters on my profile that are meant to block people above my age range from contacting me, but yet a still get people messaging me that shouldn't be able to! This is a massive problem both on here and on Fabguys! Why?

You've expressed an age preference, but people outside that range aren't blocked.

If I message you, I get a warning message, but I could still go ahead.


"You are outside covcock42's preferred age range.

covcock42 is looking for people aged 18-40. Although those outside that age are not blocked from messaging, you are much more likely to get a reply from those who are looking for someone of your age."

You need to go to filters and apply the blocks.

Ok I have done that but I have done blocked people over 40 on Fabguys too and they still message me, the active filters don't work all the time like they should.

if you have blocked people they cant message you...

if you have previously messaged people who are outside your age limits they can still message you after you change them

Slight flaw if you ever replied before the filters were applied then people can get through

Why it's easier not to reply to people and say no thanks

Yeah its not people who I have ever spoken to before on here. I had a message on Fabguys the other day from a 42 year old I had never spoken to on here ever! It happens all the time.
