When using my mobile to view the chatroom I get choppy stop start images when I view somebody's cams. Is this normal.

PS I'm using a good Wi-Fi connection.

good wifi does not equal a good internet connection, it just shows its good upto the router, not beyond to the internet. Also depends how many others using it as the bandwidth is not all yours its shared, the same is true of broadband and mobile data

OK.

I have no problem viewing the cams on my PC on the same network, just poor on my mobile using the mobile app.

Phones have limited brain power and memory. They also have other apps competing for resources.

Stop background tasks and/or run the chat from a freshly started phone. Also make sure you haven't stuffed the phone with apps you don't need. When app memory is short the phone wastes CPU on juggling, and when RAM is short, there is not enough "buffer" to even out the Internet speed.
