My software is 8.0, when I try to search for people near to me, it says my location isn't turned on even though it's on in my phone settings

I have a Nokia Lumia 925. Location works perfectly. Go into settings, location and make sure it is turned on. Also allow the website to show your location.

Also unable to view the cams in the chatroom. Is this the phone? Do I need to download anything to make them work?
