You need to go into the phones settings and allow the app or web use your current locations. I have the same phone

Not sure if the "htc one" and "htc one m8" are the same, but:


"when I had my htc one first time I ask for location details I block it by mistake so didn't work

go internet

settings

privacy + security

location request

clear location access

then next time when you log in and it request location data allow it"
