Unable to detect current location

I just started using the mobile app, but mobile near feature doesn't seem to work. I have turned on the location setting in settings and still no joy. Is it because I just started using the mobile app, or maybe because I am also logged in via computer? I'm using android, not sure what version..

Actually I think I know why, because I am using wifi and not the phone network..

The Who's Near feature uses your GPS location.
"Can you give us more to go on than that?

Phone make + model?

Operating system=Android

Browser?

Do your other location apps (GPS, Maps) give your location correctly?

Have you given your browser permission to pass your location to Fab?

Etc.?"

IM using a Nokia lumia 1020 and my location cant be picked up, any suggestions are much appreciated

I downloaded mozilla browser and it all works now
