I think it would be good to be able to delete sent messages so they disappear for the recipient too. Just like you can on WhatsApp etc.

This would almost act as a safety feature too where you’ve shared your address and want to unsend it after a meet for example.

It would also allow people to be abusive and then delete the evidence though.

Not in the back end, just the front end. Admin would still be able to see it.

If you block them they have no access to prior messages

Also if a person is a human Vs the typical fab fraud then if you are actually interacting in person they shouldn't care about fab access as you should be past that.

I get some like make-believe on here

Blocking people does not delete messages.

They do, I’ve been blocked and can still see all historic messages. This is what I mean, if you send any personal information like your address there’s no way to unsend it.

"If you block them they have no access to prior messages"

This is incorrect, blocking someone will not remove messages that have been sent. The only current way to delete sent messages is to actually delete your profile and rejoin.

Surely if you have sent your address and met them they know where you live, and probably screen shot the message

I understand the request however if I'm lucky enought to receive an invite to visit someone I would use the post code in a map app which lives outside the message on fab. Once you have met someone in real life you don't get to unwind the information exchange.

It would be a really handy feature to have. Especially for sending any personal details like phone numbers or just adjusting typo's.
