Cam help please

Hi last week my wife and I went onto the cam section but were not too sure how it works.were new to all this.do we have to join someone else's cam so we can broadcast? Or is there a way of doing it without having to go on to someone else's cam.Sorry if it's been asked before.also what does it mean when the names in cam appear to be red.thankyou

Hiya op

Has your browser and site permissions to use camera and microphone

Did you accept those permissions when asked on the site

If so, you just go into the cam chat rooms and you'll see yours by profile name if you click it you are letting yourself go on cam
