"See who's near" option

Why is it that on the "See who's near" option when you select "See Nearby who MATCH your Preferences" you have so many people offline...

I think a few months ago, you could only see the people on line.

What happened?

Is this a bug?

No it's a distance thing. They may be online or not. You could peruse either and contact them irrespective of them being online or not

Remember also not everyone uses there location which would be turned off. Which would limit your audience

Mine doesn't work properly. I had numerous say they was within a couple of mile when I was in Croatia but they was actually in Italy 😂
