Whilst we appreciate the usefulness of being to view people without leaving a trace. But it would also be useful to block those that are hiding their views too.

E.g… if someone you know uses the option to be hidden from the “recently viewed” list then you would know to block them. They can stalk you unbeknownst to you for ever. That’s kinda creepy don’t ya think? (We do).

What am I missing, what is it someone can do by viewing your profile often?

So far, we don't agree, though that may change depending on your concerns.

We hide because when we wasn't hiding, we received too many messages stating they'd noticed we'd viewed their profile and therefore assumed we were interested, etc, kinda used it as a filter.

We understand why people hide prefer to hide their views, and we have no problem with that at all.

We also think that for all those reason people prefer to be hidden, there are also reasons people who’d feel happier seeing who has seen them. Quid pro quo.

I'm still not understanding why you think it's creepy.

They don't like the thought of someone they could find unattractive checking them out 25 times a day and having a wank marathon without them knowing, when you put it like that it is a bit creepy

We're the same.. got oldies thumbs and quite often accidentally click on someone's (who we've no interest in) profile for a second when scrolling

We'd then get the 'noticed you checked our profile' messages.. bit embarrassing having to explain, no we didn't, it's just incompetence!

So thats the reason we hide ours.. nothing sinister.

Equally don't care who views ours or how many times without our knowledge

I’ve recently created a solo profile.

I forgot to turn this feature on and within an hour I was inundated with messages from people thanking me for looking at their profile.

It was swiftly turned on!

What I don’t understand is why people message from a hidden profile
