Til this morning was able to use the Near Me function perfectly well without GPS enabled on the phone...

But now it does require GPS and the warning message in Red is a tad different to before

It's working find on my HTC desire hd without

GPS on.

just tested again and the Lat Long info wont now come up til turn on GPS.. not been like that til today ... Boo Hoo

Strange works fine on my s3 without gps enabled, obviously not as pinpoint accurate but still within a mile

My phone as been workhng good with the near me .But since i came back frm Newcastle yestday is still telling mdm whos near up North ,1 to 2 miles away etc.Although iam in Hull at the moment..?

Have you taped the refresh button ? Found that happened to me when i was in brentwood then clacton, kept giving me people in billericay as 3 miles away. Quick refresh and bang all good. It doesnt seem to automatically check your gps location and only goes off the last time you used gps, or first location you log into the fab mobile site from that day.

At least that seems to be the case on my S3 not sure about other mobiles though
