How to use mobile cam?

Can anyone tell me how to use the mobile cam? I have a Nokia 2.2.

I can put the cam on and it comes up in the bottom left hand corner.. which is fine for viewing the other cam but I can't see the chat properly which means I can't really reply if anyone is talking to me..I'm also not sure how to just cam privately with another cam..or know if this is even possible

You can't cam privately with another person, you can't even do that on a computer
