Private videos attached to messages. How?

Why when you upload video and select private there is information we can send video in mail ?. But when you write mail to any person we can only attach photos?

How to send message with attached video? If there is no option than for what there is private videos if we can't share with others?

Asking exactly the same question, am I doing it wrong?

You cannot currently send videos via messages. Apparently the page that says it is private is the standard page for pictures, which of course you can send, the best advice I have seen is to make the video 'friends only' and add the person you wish to see it as a friend.
