"We do not see this as discriminatory at all. It is a party for a specific type of person, much like a lot of other parties. For example, Bi parties you have to be bi or bi curious to get an invite. I, (f) have been turned away from clubs for being too fat and that’s highly embarrassing yet they stated no criteria for attending. We didn’t take the decision of size restriction lightly either. It was taken after many discussions with genuine larger ladies who feel very strongly about having their own exclusive party. They want to feel comfortable in their own skins without judgement and ridicule which does happen an awful lot, even from some party hosts and/or their crew members .
