We have been to many in chesterfield, Nottingham and Derby and as they sugggest it’s justice social gathering. They have a guest list which controlled who comes, if your not on the list your not coming in, it’s simple. They run perfectly and have never had any issues with people just turning up in invited. We can see sorting travel and child care can be in issue if you don’t know where you are going. We said from the very start that the venue would be disclosed privately to the Guestlist close to the date, for discretionary reasons. As the supportive comments from other event organisers say, what we're doing is fully justifiable and standard practice. Hopefully this now puts an end to the discussion and we can all look forward to the evening. We've already bought some raffle prizes for the event as planning continues. | |||
