Manchester lounge xmas social part 10!

So the Manchester lounge social is back again, this time for it's Christmas edition.

The date is Saturday 15th December 1pm-6pm (options to carry on after 6pm will be possible)in central Manchester, venue details will be sent to those on the list. Obviously the venue has a room capacity and we are now full so only taking names for a reserve list.

As usual there’ll be an optional raffle to cover costs.

I'm dropping my bag at my hotel and can check in early if a room is available. Doesn't the venue have a cloakroom or reception too leave you bag in whilst at the social?

Yes it will have, as it’s outside of the centre by a couple of miles it means me travelling into Manchester to travel out to drop my bag off to travel back in....seems a bit of an effort and that’s what I’m weighing up

I've not got a certain date for mum being sent home it's definitely sometime next week they just have to get the community team plan in place then she's home, so it's with regret I'm gonna excuse myself rather than wait and cancel last minute.

"Good evening....trying to decide whether to get there earlier and drop my bag off at the hotel (it’s just outside the centre) or bring my bag with me (and risk losing it, if I have too many drinks).

I know it’s not vitally important to anyone but these are the type of things that keep me awake of a night

It’s stressing me out too. We’re going to see if they will let us in the room a bit earlier - I rang them and they might be able to if there’s no one in it. Still I like to know what I’m doing.

Exactly my hotel are the same...can’t commit to giving me a room early. I’m tempted to go up on the Friday now just so I know what’s happening....

I'm dropping my bag at my hotel and can check in early if a room is available. Doesn't the venue have a cloakroom or reception too leave you bag in whilst at the social?

Yes it will have, as it’s outside of the centre by a couple of miles it means me travelling into Manchester to travel out to drop my bag off to travel back in....seems a bit of an effort and that’s what I’m weighing up

I’m driving - bags can be put in my car if anyone needs to as I won’t be drinking "
