"I’m getting all excited at the prospect of my first “social” Is there a general dress code ( the mankini has shrunk in the wash so I don’t want to be cut in two!!!) No wind ups as I’ll be nervous enough. I dare say someone will say it’s fancy dress and I’ll be the only one turning up in fancy dress" I’d say smart/casual like you would for an afternoon in the pub with new friends.
