Being a lady on this site...No matter what I pop on my update or profile... I only really get men looking.

So....ladies.... I ask this request....

I help organise a social in the West Yorkshire area and we would love more ladies to be aware of ithem and hopefully attend some in the future.

We have a great bunch of guests that attend these socials and single men are in abundance on FAB (which I thank for your interest) but not many are single ladies.

If you would like to attend.. please comment or PM me and don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

Id go to more socials if they were on a night where i wasnt working next day so maybe more ladies are in the same position as me.

We tend to run them on Saturday nights... as hoping everybody is off on a Sunday... but in this day and age... not always the case

Have you tried getting the male supporters to promote it on their status messages, as the York socials organisers do?

What a great idea... a few friends have done that in the past but never thought to ask the males as such

Although not in your neck of the woods, I have literally only just (like 10 mins ago) found out that there are such things as socials. This despite being on this site for over a year!

I’m not sure how you can alert single females of the existence of socials but I for one will now look out for them in and around London.

Thank you for getting back to me.

I was so wary of them at the beginning myself.... thinking they where another club scenario... keys in a bowl !! Ha ha

But once I visited my first... I adore them... they are a great way of finding really lovely people to mingle, laugh and/or play with with at a later date. If that is your choosing.

Same with Betsy above... from a completely different part of the country but we have met through socialising and she’s adorable and we will help one another out now. If ever I’m needed.

All down to socialising

I host regular socials in London and Heathrow and am lucky enough to get a great turn out... see the London forum and check out the next dates if you're interested pm me.. plus I have been lucky enough to meet the gawjuss people that host the mirfield social a few times and had a great evening everytime...

Ive tried different things hon, winking from the social profile, sending direct messages saying how many lovely single men and couples die to attend and could they help out. I’ve had other single women message their friends and I’ve had the guys and couples trying to promote too. Although the second Social was better than the first in numbers single women were just my friends we couldn’t convince anyone to come

its not much better trying to get genuine single men to go, plenty will put there names down, but less than a third actually turn up

Very very true.... the last couple of days before the social seem to be where you find the interested parties are the ones that turn up.

Have you noticed... it seems the socials are organised by women as well.... ?? lol

not many mostly couples, apart from Halifax and Rabbits Fab Heathrow social well worth the 450 mile drive

Me and my Mrs are in the middle of doing our first social in Telford Shropshire. It’s on Thursday 7th December we’ve had a good response off couples and 2 single females have put there names down and of course plenty of single guys. We thought we would struggle as it’s a week night but the feed back as been it’s easy for a lot of people to get a day off work in the week than it is on a weekend. We used our couples account to message single females but out of the 20 only 5 replied and only 2 of them said yes to coming. If this one goes well we might try a couples and females only one or even think about a female only social

you will find out who the genuine people are on the night, hope it goes well for you, our socials are on a Saturday, tried one on a Friday and that was not as popular. Rabbits Heathrow socials are on Fridays and well attended, sadly not easy for us to get to

Yes we did have some negative feed back for the amount of single guys on the list. But we know not all of them are going to turn up. That’s why we thought about doing our own because there wasn’t one locally

I did a ladies only social last year and will definitely do another one at the start of next year, not sure of London or Heathrow area yet .... Will let everyone know x

That’s good... true to your word.... I always half the total of guests on the day when counting up.... And all our attendees have been wonderful.
