Not in Wisbech but near

Hi everyone,

Am trying to get an idea of the numbers of who would be interested in attending a regular social event in kings Lynn.

This would be held on a Monday or Tuesday evening and if enough people are interested this could be a weekly/fortnightly/monthly event.

Please post below if you would be interested in attending.

It is not us who would be organising this i am just helping out to find out numbers.

And people wonder why Norfolk seems dead.

You get someone trying to organise something to benefit swinger's in Norfolk and only a few people are interested which wouldn't make it worthwhile to go ahead with.

Which is a shame as it could have been a good way to meet new people and perhaps even find someone for some fun.

Any reason why a Mon or Tues just thinking after a week end people are less likely to want to go out on a Monday .....beginning of a new week, work and all

where as a Fri, Sat may have more people far more interested no work the next day for most, no school for kids,poss easier to sort out getting kids looked after if have them etc etc it goes on...

Also poss mention this in the chat room after all how many come in this section of the site let alone read down more than 10 odd postings.

We have also had lots of this before haven't we

The club that was in Yarmouth

The Catherine wheel pub meets

Got the Attic at Kings Lynn

and a few others I can think off

BUT YES great idea and something would be interested in (but not at the beginning of a new week)

Thank you for your replies I do appreciate them all.

Not involved in the organising of this i just said I would put a post on the forum.

The reason for it being a Monday or Tuesday is due to the venue which has said if enough people are interested they wouldn't charge entry.

Also a lot of people are not interested in attending a social event at the end of the week or weekends as this is when they are attending clubs or hosting meets.

I'd definitely come. I don't know of any socials this way so think it's a great idea. As someone else said maybe ask in chat rooms too. I rarely come into the forums unless I'm going to a big event so I'm glad a bit of boredom found me here to see this. I hope you/your friends manage to arrange something. Once it's started word of mouth would hopefully get more people involved.
