From my experience, anyone who has received genuine training is likely to pitch up with a folding massage table in the first instance. I find it really affects my own posture having to work on someones back on a soft bed. It usually results in my back doing all the work thus I need treatment later at my expense.

Most Thai massage parlours will happily massage you naked, they practically insist on it. I've got a mate at work who goes for one every month. I went for one a while back as I had a frozen shoulder and they told me the towel was optional.
