The next York social is on 29th January.

Start 730

We have a private venue with DJ

Small buffet,

Free raffle,

Theme, black and white (if you want to dress up)

The price for entry to cover cost

Singles £5

The venue has good parking on the main rd (don't park on side streets)

The venue is 10 mins from city centre so most hotel are good.

Agreed, and I know that many single women also drop out last minute or don't attend. However I don't play with couples or single women, so I'm bitching about my chances of scoring being reduced.

Central York Travelodges (one in Piccadilly and one in Micklegate) are still quite cheap £56 and £61 for doubles. And quite a few seem to be staying at the Holiday Inn although that's further out of town.

We are in the holiday inn too it will be funny if we have taken over a whole floor
