Nearly 3 years now on the site and only met a handful of genuine single guys !

The site is full of wanna be's , picture collectors and married men wanking over a few sexy pictures . If you agree to meet them the excuse book usually comes out - I can only meet during the day ! I'm working 7 days a week , I have got the kids, I don't drive - fuck me we have heard em all !

The site should put up the membership fees to discourage timewasters and picture collectors - does anyone agree?

There are single men on here who are just here for a wank, and have no intention of meeting, but that's the case with couples and single women too.

I sometimes struggle to get a meet when I am free, but that's as much my fault as anything. When I get a meet with a lovely single man (or men!) then it makes the searching and message ing all worthwhile.

Hi...

ive had exactly the same problem with girls and couples.. just seems to go with the territory. I did just stick to clubs and that worked well for me for a few years. Didn't arange meets just went for a good night out and found everything fell into place most of the time. I also made some really good friends. Now due to work family and everything else playtime is limited so I hate being messed around x x

I understand why veris are important but it can be really damaging.

I only use fab from time to time and mostly to look for people who are into the same kinks as I am. But because I'm not on it all the time and people can't meet at the drop of a hat I don't actually have veris.

Half the ones who aren't single have managed to turn up for me, on more than one occasion, so i changed my profile to not interested in attached guys.

I don't think forcing people to pay for this site will help. I've met a fair amount of non-upgraded members and chat to some also. The ones i chat to i'm pretty sure are single, i've been talking tot hem for a long time already.

A few mixed views , my understanding of the site is that it is for swingers to meet like minded people not for married guys to wank over a few pictures - surely there is enough porn on the net for the wankers ?

If the membership was more expensive everyone would think about spending money if they are not going to use the site - a bit like gym membership most people cancel after a few months because they don't use it lol - maybe this would remove a lot of the timewasters from the site - couples and singles included.

Verifications are really easy if you actually meet people - everyone we have met have been more than happy to do a verification - the only catch is if you don't meet anyone - then no one will verify you !

As Kentkev said, I'm married and I wank and I also work too. I'm in the very fortunate position that my wife is happy for me to play solo. There are plenty of genuine married men, although I will admit we are a minority. Maybe you're chatting to the wrong men or letting it get to far before ruling them out? This is not a critisism just a thought. As for putting the price up, I have just left a very expensive site that won't allow you to do anything unless you're a fully paid member (including reading messages and looking at profiles). There are just as many photo hunters and time wasters as on this site, maybe more as it has a international customer base. They just have more money and no sense of the value of it.

I do agree with the view over site fee's. I think if it was more expensive it would remove alot of the time wasters. Im a member of several sites so im talking from experience. As for pushy couples and girls... ive experianced it in messages but never with anyone ive met.

I'm a very genuine single male that can accom or travel if I arrange a meet 99.9% of the time i meet like most I have a life away frm fab and things can crop up !!! The thing that really gets me is I take time on my messages to people I read profiles and include things they/I like only for them to be deleted a simple Ty but no thanks would be nice I don't spit my dummy out I jst say no probs my veris speak for themselves on those who I have met

You have a lovely profile so I cannot how you would struggle, the site as a problem with men joining as fake couples and single women but then don't you find the popular something becomes the less attractive it seems, just like the smiths before they became mainstream

We find it difficult to find couples too ,but we arranged 16 meets with so called genuine guys for only 1 to turn up so 15 no shows does make it difficult for the few good guys on here

I'm 100% a genuine single guy who is fed up of timewasters. Had many meets planned with couples and single ladies only to be cancelled last minute. Thinking of changing my name on here to the King of Cancellations. The ladies I chat to and meet keep my faith in the site. I would have to leave the site if subscriptions went up.

Never thought we'd say this - but yes - time to start charging membership. Genuine meets are getting rarer and rarer - and Fab has largely become a) a chat/forum site for lonely women and b) an advertising forum for clubs - just go and do a search on NW meets - massive % are club meets i.e. club owners or their friends pretending (half the time) to be going to clubs just to advertise the places

I find it rather difficult to meet when people don't believe you accomodate,.. 10 years going and still I get no responses to meet todays.

Its not like I'm not verified or don't attend socials, I do.. and yet I still get all the reasons under the sun.

The more disturbing bit, if I gave any of these reasons as excuses, I'd be blocked, but as a bloke am supposed to accept it without complaint.

Actually, charging membership won't deter timewasters, check out any of the other fee-charging swingsites, (can I name any?) they still get time wasters. Clearly, timewasters will still pay the money to yank others' chains.

i'm a paid member and i spend more time chatting now than meeting because i had a bad incident with a random and i wanna get to know guys a bit better now. I preferred spending more time having sex than being on here but i'm willing to do things the way i want to for now.

Beg your pardon?? Did you bother to check our verifications (i.e. including single guys!!) - we open the profile up to single guys when we are looking - that way stops us being inundated with messages from single guys who do not read the profile re. preferences lol - you couldn't make it up !

We always look at single guys and couples profiles is a really good indication if people are genuine , if a guy cannot be arsed to put a few decent pictures on , explain what he is looking for and make an effort to get some verifucations - then in our experience it's very unlikey he will actually meet up - usually because he is either married , a picture collector who just loves wanking , or just bottles out as its a fantasy and they shit themselves when it becomes reality.

We have given so many newbies the opportunity to meet up but you can guarantee without a good profile they will always drop out .

We often suggest they go to the clubs to get a better understanding of the scene, meet people and get verified but few ever bother because they always say ' I'm too scared ' I would feel silly going on my own ' lol. It's so funny because that's exactly to reason why they are not worth meeting because they just lose their bottle and waste everyone's time.

It maybe the price that puts them off going to a club and we understand that - but anything in this life is an investment and if they took the time to go and speak to people they would have a much better time on the scene.

I doubt putting up the membership fee's would stop the real timewasters, they don't have a life to spend there money on apart from this place, might stop a lot of the multiple profiles if they had to pay to join with each one though
