The island's warming up nicely, road sides freshly painted, safety pads are out, roads closed signs up, and a few bikes over already. I wonder if they got the dates wrong too! No idea why it's later this year!.

Tt dates. This is one that keeps cropping up what are the dates why is it so late this year.

It's the same time every year.

mad Sunday. Middle Sunday between practice and race week is always the first Sunday in June.

The dates move around accordingly do watch for next year as it's early and it's a leap year as well

Start praying for light winds suitable for us sailing lol ferries cancelled for tonight

Weather due to change from Wednesday

A really bad storm battering the island but great to hear the islands rallying around to help all those poor bikers camping..

Weather is horrendous and just imagine being in a tent!!! Great folk on the island though. Even during the bus strike couple years ago locals just stopped and offered lifts to folk going in their direction. Real community spirit

Just decided we are sailing over around tea time tomorrow as the winds are to pick up again Friday morning so safer to go earlier. See you guys over next few days
