Saturday 16th May

York 3rd Saturday is the York Trans social aimed primarily towards Transgender, CD, TV's but is also inclusive in all other genre's, straight, gay, bi ,lesbian or any other connotation.

It's a friendly gathering with just 1 rule, which is you must have FUN.

It's held in 3 venues, all of which are LGBT friendly.

We start at 9pm in Thomas's Bar (opposite the Museum gardens just 5 minutes from the train station)

Around 10pm we move to the Corner Pin, which is on a side street off Rougier street next to Salt & peppa's. Thomas's has had a refurbishment since our last outing there and has a resident drag Queen who is also the bar Manager.

Then around Midnight we cross the road into Flares nightclub to dance away the remains of the night (£3 entry)

CANCELLED

Unfortunately the Brewery chain behind one of the venues is not keen on one of their pubs being a 'Gay Bar' and have closed it down to refurbish it and re-open as a 'Real Ale' pub.

This leaves me without enough suitable venues to make for a great night, so until further notice there is no Trans social in York, but fear not, i will be searching high and low for suitable LGBT friendly venues and will bounce back
