Hi ladies and gents.

We're taking the plunge and popping our club cherry on 2nd May at VA. We're a little nervous but very excited as we have no idea what to expect! It'd be great to make some new friends before hand, familiar faces would make it a little easier.

Although I won't be at VA's on 2nd May, I am there almost every Friday. There is certainly no need to be nervous as this is one of the most friendly clubs I have experienced. For the first part of the evening, the bar and lounge areas make for great socialising. Both the staff team and regular visitors make great efforts to chat with first timers. It's just like a country pub, but full of like minded people all there for the same reason and all keen to interact with others.

The buffet appears around 10.30 after which visitors drift down to the massive hot tub where the socialising continues.

What happens next is entirely up to you. You can watch others, play by yourselves or maybe join in with others. Never any pressure and always good fun.

VA's is an upmarket venue with smart decor attracting nice people of all ages and backgrounds.

I'm sure you will have a great time as you have chosen one of the best venues to begin your swingers clubs journey.

Thanks for the heads up. Always good to get another person's view. It took a lot of umming and arring to reach the decision, the fact that we can rent a room helped swing it for us.

Unfortunately not. I've just booked a long weekend in Paris for the middle of May and am looking forward to going to a club called Moon City. It seems like a nice upmarket place, a bit like The Vanilla Alternative, so it will be interesting to see how it compares. Anyway I'm sure the wait for you until your visit to VA's will be well worth it. Have fun (I always do there).
