I'm going to look at a new event venue in the Black Country today to run both socials and events/parties. It is not my intention to set this up in competition to the great clubs already in operation in the area and much thought will be given to ensure this doesn't happen.

I feel a regular social venue will be a great way to encourage new people to take the plunge and try out the lifestyle and get to chat to people already enjoying the fun it offers. On the socials I will open the event one hour earlier to new peeps who want to know more and maybe nervous so that they all know they are in the same boat. This hour will be aimed at helping people by offering advice and tips over an informal drink. They can then either stay or leave when the more experienced funsters start to turn up.

The parties will be themed as in couples and fems, greedy girl parties on nights when most guys are not allowed in clubs as they are couples only, and bi fun parties.

I will try and inject some fun into these parties by having some demonstrations and maybe some products on sale possibly from members of fab, so small scale BBB style thing.

I welcome comments on this idea, I have run quite a few parties before so not new to this. Venue has a licensed bar and playrooms.
