We are hoping (praying!) we can go on Nov 1st. It's my 30th birthday and our first time at TG, so will be super special.

Can anyone answer some questions?

The TG forum seems a bit quiet..?

I'd like to know about etiquette. We've been to plenty of swingers clubs, but do people actually 'play' or just watch organised events at TG?

Also, as it's the halloween ball, I'm going crazy over possible outfits... (grotesque burlesque, whoop!) do people go already dressed up? (We're thinking of getting a hotel room, I can imagine the concierges faces!!)

TG aren't play parties as such. There is a couples play room which is very strictly monitored. And at some events a dungeon, but again very strictly monitored.

TG parties are for looking good and posing. The Halloween balls in particular have some awesome costumes. I've seen people turned away at the door for crap costumes. There is sometimes a changing room if you don't wamt to dress (or undress) before you get there. But it is very busy.

I prefer the Brighton parties to the London ones they are usually a little smaller and friendlier. That said I've had amazing times at all the TG parties I've attended. Just for different reasons.
