Would an event aimed at mature guys, ladies and couples... plus interested parties stir up any interest?

I am sure it could be hosted at a club or clubs in different locations?

This is a feeling out the water message... not a commercial offer... I an prepared to organise it if enough interest and commitment is shown.

It is a bit of a dichotomy restricting age for a mature event....young women may want mature men,women or couples and visa versa. young couples may wish to meet mature couples or any number of mature young combinations....

I suggest we say it is an event where people over 50 will be the main attraction then people expect numbers of mature folks to be at the event although young and middle age players will be there and will chose who they play with as normal...one assumes that people who are not interested in mature players obviously wont come. If there is interest there will be a list and obviously it wont take place if there are 101 guys over 70 and one couple!!
