ROCKY HORROR Barnsley Social June 19th

We are holding our ROCKY HORROR social at our pub on the 19Th June, and we hope you would like to join us.

There is a charge for this event, £10 for singles and £20 for couples which can be paid on the door on the night.

We will be having a charity event at the social, which as yet is to be decided, so details of this will follow, any money left from the entry charge after costs will be put into the charity pot.

This event is purely a 'social' meet, for us like minded people to meet up and get to know some new faces.

The Venue is in S70 area of Barnsley, The pub will be closed for the evening so if you want to be a little daring with your outfit that is fine?, just cover up when you are arriving and if you want to use the smoking shelter. It is rocky horror fancy dress but this is optional.

We will have our own music/karaoke set up for all you budding xfactor fans out there lol and we will put a nice spread on for you too. The bar will be open till midnight.

Numbers are limited to around 100 people; we will make sure we have a nice mix of cpls and singles. Everyone is welcome cpls, single gals, single guys; tv/ts/cd's the only thing we do ask is that you are verified on the site either from other people or photo verified.

We will have a main list, once this is full we will open a reserve list, a cpl of week before the event we will mail everyone on the list asking them to email us with confirmation that they are attending, we will also ask for a Valid email address so we can send you venue details and tickets for the party.

Usual don’ts...

If you’re down as a cpl then you will only gain entry as a cpl

No cameras.

Cover up when outside the pub.

If you’re coming from further afield then please pm us for a list of Hotels.

So please get your names down and come and have some fun with us.

need to let you all know about a few changes to the social, as you know its our last social in barnsley and with over 100 people on the list we wanted to make it a big event with a TV DJ bouncing castle, food entertainment ect..

After sending out the mails asking people to confirm last week that number as gone down to around 25 people, think this was bad planning on our part as the day after the social will be fathers day

BUT, the show will go on, it will still be ROCKY HORROR fancy dress ( so i still get to doll kev up ) we will have our own music/karaoke and some food will be put on, the cost on the door will only be £5pp to cover food and staff etc ad the pub will still be closed to the general public, we still have a week to go before the social so we are hoping the numbers will increase slightly i that time.

will still be a cracking night no matter how many turn up.

so we will see you on the 19th.

and if you want to come the please drop us a mail.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we can no longer make this social, sorry!

It's a shame, as we got our gear already, including black lippy and nail vanish!

We hope there will be another chance to dress up in our Rocky Horror outfits in the future, pretty please!
