hi all the date as now been set for the Sheffield social, its 10th april.

this is optional fancy dress but it makes it more fun if you make the effort.

if you can definitely make it then please send me a mail so i can pass the details on.

there is a limited number of singles and we are nearly there. both cpl and singles will need verifications.

you may want to rethink your dates as its the same date as the barnsley social, which i did point out to you before you set the dates and both are very close together.

Well I was all for a second social but have serious doubts over the organisation now. I presumed as most would that it would be on a different date to the Barnsley one. Now I can only presume one of two things on this.

1/The organisers lack the skill to sort out a social with others in mind. (others would be people already attending a social on the 10th in South Yorks.)

2/This has been done on purpose for what reasons I hate to think.

I would be very interested in knowing why the organisers have come up with one date in a two month period that there is already a social going on in south Yorkshire though. Please note this isn’t a dig it is a genuine question as there are another 29 potential dates in April.

ok lets put a stop to all this bitching.

me and paul have been to kevnkat social and we had a good night and was welcomed by them.

so who ever started the thread off slagging us, come and tell me where you heard the gossip that i supposed to have slagged them off.

the only things i have ever said in the chat room is we had a lovely time when we went, if we did not why would i go to kevnkat first about joining 2 socials together.

the pub where the General Chat are having this social has a function room that we are hiring, originally i wanted to book for the 17th april because i did not want to clash with kevnkats night, this date was not available no matter what others think its the truth.

this social is not some thing that is going to be every month as you would know if you come in General Chat.

General Chat as a social every month in different cities. and the next one is 1st may in Newcastle, and the one after is 29th may in Manchester, sorry richyngayna if i have the area wrong sure you will let others know.

we are not doing this to take custom away from kevnkats night at all as i said ours is General Chat social, theres is a forum social, and im sure there is enough swingers out there to do both socials in both cities, and i wish kevnkat well with theres as its a good night.

so lets hope this clears things up now and puts a end to it.

Its not a throw toys out of pram ladies but if you choose to feel free. Now anyone can have any day they like as we live in a democratic country. But I asked a genuine question and asked for clarification as it seemed odd the dates clashed when it is just over a 1 in 60 clash. I was stating it seemed awfully strange it was the same date.

I have been to socials in the past when they have clashed with others.. and there has not been all this silly behaviour.

If it happens that the dates coincide it does not mean that is had been done deliberatly. I know the people organising this social and they would never do that .

iv just found out premier inn arena is full and they are the dearest anyways.

i found travelodge sheffield central has rooms at £55 a night.

or the etap hotel sheffield arena is £36 a night these rooms have a bunk bed above the double never tried this hotel.

The nearest Premier Inn is the one to the south of the city centre

The etap now gone up to £40 a night

As so many of us in the same hotel have a phoned local cab company but they only have an 8 seater - which gets booked up in advance especially at weekends - so do 6 others on the list wan2 share the cost of that with us to the venue??
