It's time to party in the steel city!

This will be a purely social event held in the function room of a pub close to the city centre - and within staggering distance of a few hotels.

We'll be starting in the afternoon all the way through till last (wo)man standing!

Normal pub etiquette applies - we are in a private space so can swap lots of stories but if as far as behaviour goes: if you wouldn't do it in your local then don't do it in mine!

The guestlist is open to all, verified or not, singles, couples, everyone. So if you've been struggling to get meets or verified then join us.

Thread two. Invite is still open to all and we also have some fantastic raffle prizes available to raise funds for a Sheffield Cancer Support Charity.

As host I will try to ensure everyone meets lots of fun people and has a great night - this may also include pouring anyone who has overindulged into a cab and sending them home for an early night so please pace yourselves.

If you're interested in attending then post on here and I'll send details of nearby hotels. The venue will only be released much closer to the event.

Course you can try on! They are a t-bar medium heel with a subtle animal print. I'm like Bambi in heels normally so at least I won't make a tit of myself as we're in the one place! Just need to look for suitable tights now and I'm sorted

And I'm really keen to see all these new outfits and gorgeous shoes! Just a word of warning though; we are up a flight of stairs so if you're wearing taxi shoes (also known as fuck me shoes, only suitable to walk from taxi to seat and back to taxi) you may need to arrange a hottie to do the bar run for you...

I'll be sending out a confirmation mail tomorrow which you'll have to reply to to go on the confirmed list and then the venue details will get sent out on the Wednesday before the social.

It may seem all a bit cloak and dagger but there have been instances where venues have cancelled because they have discovered that the guests are all swingers.

For that reason I'll also ask that no-one posts the details online or tells anyone else.

Anyone who wants to attend can still get on the list by posting on the thread.
