It's about 20 / 30 minutes from Reading, but the social is on 25/4

OP is trying to keep the venue secret until closer to the date. Supposedly to keep uninvited single men away.

However the choice of venue could well determine whether we attend.

Again, depends largely on the venue. There’s some places that have private / hireable rooms. We went to one in B’stoke a few years back that was fun. Just chatting with like minded folks. The mix was good, only five or six single men so it didn’t feel threatening in any way.

Regular meets , parties, club outings, even coffee mornings

It’s mainly Cpl’s but some events open to all

Lively WhatsApp group too

Next event is Good Friday with us joining up with Ignite socials

It will work as I've been to similar socials before, no one else in the bar will know what we're gathered for. I will give the location out to those on the list on the week before the event. But assume it's close to reading station.
