Hi all,
Each year I host a Goldsmiths Midlands Social. This social is all about quality, not quantity and for newbies who may never have attended a social before, it may well be a perfect introduction to the social element of swinging.
Event organising is one of the activites I do for a living. So it comes as second nature. I make no apologies for trying to achieve a social event that is a little more sophisticated than meeting in the backroom of a pub. You are our friends so therefore you deserve something in a nice environment with a bit of something extra special. This is the second event I have organised at this venue, and we are looking forward to it very much. Even if I say so myself, last years event was something quite special and many said it was the best they had ever been to.
This social is a limited capacity of 60 only.
EVENT INFORMATION
The date is Saturday 4th April
There will be a four course dinner, entertainment by one of the country's top tribute artists, disco and a really good atmosphere to let people meet. The event is non profit making, the only cost to you is £15 per person, this covers the cost of the meal. The entertainment is being covered by myself. Obviously if you require accommodation for the night, you can stay at the hotel. The rate for this is £39.50 per person for double occupancy.
I also have a list of nearby B & B's if you prefer at a lesser rate.
DRESS CODE - Smart casual for the guys, suited and booted if you like, but no denim or trainers please.
For the ladies, elegant and sexy would be lovely, but bear in mind we will be in a private function room, but members of the public who may be at the hotel and of course the staff wont be wanting to see tits out etc. Sexy is good, tarty isnt !!!! Outdoor coats can be left at reception upon your arrival.
This social is by invitation only and the meal and any accommodation must be booked with the hotel, and paid for no later than 7 days before the event. This will prevent me from having to collect money on the night, and also prevent meals being booked and people not turning up and us having to pay for them. The event is booked at the hotel under Tina's Social event. No-one who just turns up on the night will be admitted.
ITINERARY
We will meet in the bar area of the hotel at 7.15pm for drinks and welcome.
At 8:00pm we will be escorted to our tables for dinner. The menu is below. If you are vegetarian, there is a suitable alternative. But please let reception know you require this when booking your meal.
After coffee and mints, there will be time to chat and mingle before we start the short cabaret (about an hour for the cabaret should be right I think), when you will be entertained by a fantastic tribute to one of the world's most famous glitz and glamour rock and pop icons. After the cabaret there will be a great disco. There are also plenty of places to sit, chat and flirt, and for those who want to, dance the night away.
The event will run until approximately 1am. But for those who are staying over (!!!!) you can retire to your rooms and carry on with your own brand of entertainment (!!!!) The banging of headboards is an occupational hazard and will probably be ignored. LOL
