Booking a hotel with a possibility of arranging a meet while there is always a minefield until you actually get there , with regard to getting people to the room .

So I think a recommendation forum for others is a good idea .

I will start it off with

Manchester hotel.

Motel one St Peter’s square , tram stop right out side the door , clean smart rooms , atmospheric public bar from which easy access to the lifts with no key access required .

Downside WiFi not great .

Let’s know yours good or bad .

Haslingden

Crowne Plaza Manchester also easy access for visitors straight to rooms without being obvious. Same with Holiday Express at Leigh Village and Novotel Worsley.
