Best advice I’d give is to go in and speak to people- sit at the bar and chat. Often people go straight in and want to find the nearest person or people doing something, but that almost always fails and you end up just walking around the place. Some Single Males are especially guilty of this and makes everyone feel a bit on edge which isn’t the atmosphere wanted there.

Everyone there is so friendly and are lovely to speak to and once you get to know people the fun will come.

I’ve gone a fair few times now and often find the same people coming back again and again, and we get to chat and it helps people feel more comfortable with you, and makes them more likely to play with you if that’s what you both and they want.

Also the place is like a maze so it’s nice to chat to people who are there and maybe ask for a tour- I still get lost sometimes so people are used to being asked where things are.

There is a Newport social nearby Chams on the Saturday 30th so if you would prefer and are able to, maybe go to that and then chams after like most from the social do, and it gives you a chance to speak to people, have a few drinks and get to know everyone without the pressure of some single men following you around.

Also the last Friday of every month Is a theme night A Man named CJ usually posts a forum every month saying what the theme is-this months is Black and White. Usually the theme nights are busier so be prepared.

The club is BYO Alcohol and they have a large range of soft drink mixers for you to purchase- you give them your locker number and pay on your way out.

Usually you get a trial night, where you have to pay a small fee and then get to go in, and if you like it you can sign up next time for a membership- make sure when you go that you bring 2 forms of id for each of you- one photo and one bill or something with your name and address on.
