Hi, I'm new to the scene and have heard loads about organised socials but can't seem to find any that are close to Reading. Anyone know if any?

A social is easy. Get a group of interested people to meet in area that is convenient to all, somewhere central for all. To all intents and purposes, as far as others are concerned the group is just that, meeting to chat over a drink. I have attended a few socials and enjoyed the wide ranging chat, with a view to taking it as far as any individual (s ) wish.

S.

Doesn’t sound very good for a swingers site

Maybe try a book club?

It's not a swinger club though just a normal night club.

That's what I read it as first

Would love to turn up with a book and strike up convos with people reading books that interest you.

Definitely. I often take a book along if going to a party, and have sat reading in the bar on more than a few evenings at swinging clubs. To paraphrase Rudyard Kipling "naked people having sex are just naked people having sex, but a good book is a read"

I go most months but it would be good to meet fellow reading people. For some reason most of the people i meet at the social are from Basingstoke.
