We created a forum post a few weeks ago, gauging interesting in a BBQ Social during the summer. There was a little interest, but not much. Maybe because we didn't have a location or date

However, we now have an idea for the location. It would probably better suit a picnic rather than the original idea of a BBQ - but let's see.

So who would be interested in a Saturday afternoon picnic (or BBQ) near Hinckley. Car park and toilets on site.

Everyone brings food and drink for others to share. If BBQ's can be used, we'll bring a couple of large disposable ones. But will need to check first.

If enough interest, we'll try to find a suitable date.

We'll have a think about possible dates. At the moment we're early July seems favourable. How does everyone feel about a Saturday afternoon? From around 4pm? Families with you children will probably have started to go home by then...

We’d be interested if there were more couples. Will the guest list be managed? The only sausage fest I’m up for is on the BBQ.
