We can do either night but please avoid 16th July if possible as there’s a social in Lichfield. We also can’t do 29th & 30th but will go with whatever xx

Socials can be difficult to organise. I’ve looked into venues in Shrewsbury as our lovely Red is so busy at the moment.

There are few venues that have separate “function” rooms, none I’ve found are free & you have to have food or a minimum bar spend. 1 venue is £275 for a max of 25 people including a buffet so £11 per head.

Then you have to factor in that it’s for swingers. It is meant to be social only but sometimes “rules” are broken.

What would you normally spend on drink on a night out? What would you see as a reasonable cost for room hire? Anyone know of any hidden gems that might be suitable?

All names that have expressed an interest have been noted. I’m just trying to find a decent venue that is central, a reasonable size, doesn’t charge for room hire, insist that we have food or sets a minimum spend for behind the bar…

It’s not as easy as it sounds

Ok, I think I have found a venue! The downsides are it’s upstairs & not disabled friendly & is there is a hire charge so we would need to charge £5 per head. If we get over 50 people they will throw in a disco. Would this be acceptable?
