"Socials are definitely the way to go for a new couple. Go and socialise with others, make contacts and go from there. We find one on one meets with new couples that we have never met very awkward and a bit forced, which then leaves everyone in a difficult position if someone out of the 4 is not happy to proceed. A social events means you are not directly meeting someone else, you can talk with lots of couples and see if you socially connect with any of them without any pressure x " Thanks for that solid advice

"It does sound like a social would be brilliant for you. The Stoke Social is nice and close, but if you can't do that then take a look at UpTheBrum in Birmingham too (or possibly just do both if you can!). I help out with it, and we have had lots of new people attend the past events and it's a really friendly get together with a chat group before hand (our old one is still going strong) to help get to know people a little before you actually meet, and even has a speed dating section if you want to get involved in that (not as scary as I thought). I hope you can find your feet. Enjoy! X" Thanks we are looking at Birmingham
