Does remind me of a ball my folks went to when I was younger entitled ‘Come as You Are’. No one had any idea what it meant until the word spread, the organiser turned up at your door unannounced and took a Polaroid as you opened the door, what you were wearing in that Polaroid was what you had to wear. As word spread it was strange seeing folk in their best finery during the day, just in case they got snapped.

"Recommendations for best hotels ? If you’re driving though most of the centre ones don’t have parking. There's a few car parks in the city centre where you can park all day Saturday for £3.50 and all day Sunday for £3.50. In fact, a car park right by the last social venue meets these parking criteria. Obviously, it's pot luck as to whether there's space (there was when we arrived on the Saturday). I always pre-book parking with parkopedia. Much cheaper than NCP and guaranteed your place.
