Hotel prices were already steep when I booked nearly a month ago. It's probably worse now. I'd hurry !

Yes! I get second hand anxiety when people say they are leaving it til the last minute. That’s why it upsets me so much when people don’t cancel/let us know when they aren’t coming to allow spaces for other people to make plans as those who then get in at the very last minute are stuck with sickeningly high last minute prices. GG x

For anyone looking at hotels you might want to consider slightly out of town options - I booked 2 nights 5 miles away with free parking for half the price of one night in the city centre. Happy to advise if anyone is weighing up their options

Easter weekend is the following weekend. However, schools break any where from 25 March to 8 April (most the 1st) depending on where you are in the country

This is very true. Daughter's school break up on 1st April but our college is in till 11th! In the same county too

We still haven't booked a hotel but we will look on the outskirts and taxi in and out, MrP has got the whole weekend off work though, we still need to find babysitters
