east coast

Would like to know the same.

It’s strange as go back pre pandemic and the reviews and verifications would be going up ten fold after each weekend, also the meets would be full of folk meeting and partying at Eureka.

It’s my favourite venue so I really hope they’re getting a decent crowd and making a good go of it!

I have seen some photos and they’re certainly making the effort, the new dance floor looks excellent!

We heard that too. It used to be so busy! A lot of the venues are packed now (certainly the ones we’ve been to post lockdown) yet when a thread starts for Eureka they only get a few comments whereas other venues get lots.

There again all club popularity seems to go in cycles so no doubt they will have their day again. We wish them luck

Unfortunately when clubs alienate their customer base by overcharging, rudeness, poor advertising and forever-changing rules, it tends to show in the subsequent attendance at events. Word of mouth is very important. Eureka used to be great fun, but I only know of one couple who have been this year and they said it was dead as a dodo.

We are gold members of Eureka and have been regularly since the end of lockdown, we have found the new owners have improved the place ten fold and the staff are very friendly. We find the cost reasonable and fair, sure some nights have been quiet and some busy but that's what happens in these strange times.

It's very unfair to knock somewhere you haven't actually been to or experienced the improvements made.

Half a dozen people on a friday night makes quiet seem like an understatement.
