Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I think I may have to pull out.

I can't find a hotel room or apartment I would be happy to sleep in for under £200. I've been looking for days.

If I stay with friends I'd have to be back to theirs early, and by the time I've taken them out to dinner I'll have spent £200.

I could do a day trip by train. Again, leaving early.

I could get the room and hang the cost. I suppose it's less than a £1 per person.

Organisers, I'll have a definite decision by Saturday.

Lickety, I booked a few properties, all under £200 (closer to £100). I'll message you the details about them tomorrow, it's not too difficult to change guest details if you do decide to go for any of them. x

The deansgate area is full of fun, trendy bars. There is also of course, if it’s your thing, a massive Xmas market.

I'll do my best to keep an eye out for this. I've never been to a social and this would be a good introduction, instead of going in to a room of 300 strangers

I am looking forward to the Saturday though.

I'm confused! Parkrun is Saturday morning. The social is Saturday afternoon/evening. So it's a before-MLS thing, surely, and we can all sleep off the excesses on the Sunday morning?! Or am I misinformed?

I'd probably not be joining in at Peel Park due to the grass section. Grass + chair = ploughing. Alexandra Park is one I might have a go at though.
