Does anybody on here ever organise or go to fab socials based in Huddersfield? I see plenty of things going on in the nearby city of Leeds but never seen anything in my own town. Would be good to meet like minded individuals for friendship, socials & beyond

Definitely would be interested in coming along if I am free on the date arranged. A few of my friends are in the process of moving away from Huddersfield so would be nice to meet some like minded individuals, for social if nothing else

Single ladies can’t go unaccompanied to the Empire. Plus their social area is extremely small. Couple of chairs & a drinks machine. Was thinking more a Huddersfield pub. Have messaged Alice who said she originally organised Huddersfield socials to say I was happy to support arranging one. Watch this space

Not had a reply from Alice yet about getting a social arranged so will leave her time to respond. Seems like there is enough interest to do something. What is the general consensus on when a Huddersfield social is best to take place? I.e. evenings, weekends or a daytime social one weekend?

Know of a great place, restaurant on one floor, modem bar on another and a club underneath.

Owner can be found on the Cap d’ arg regularly.

Intention was to have a social meet in a pub/bar environment for a drink, chat, make friends/connections with like minded individuals. Haha no one said dogging, the social was taking its time so I just suggested we all meet up in a public place so it’s can be done quicker but just an option.

I am looking at organising another Hudds Social in the centre of town somewhere

Venue still to be decided however I will be looking at doing the social sometime in February 2022

February was when I held the first Hudds Social so taking it back to where we started.

I will get it sorted ASAP and will get it up in the forums xx
